WHO WE ARE
Plectranthus amboinicus
Commonly named Cuban Oregano, Mexican Mint, Spanish Thyme and Indian Borage, this plant actually isn't oregano, mint, thyme or borage.
An herbaceous plant that has a strong menthol scent and velvety leaves, it is often grown as a container or houseplant.
In cooking, it is used in poultry, lamb and beef, either fresh or dried.
It is low maintenance and drought tolerant, and thrives in part sun to part shade.
Grown here at Seguin Gardens in our greenhouse, employing adults with developmental disabilities.
In a 4" grower pot.
