Always Afternoon Daylily is a reblooming perennial that features a large ruffled edge bloom in a dusty rose, deepening to a plum color as it moves in towards a bright green throat. Midseason blooms in early July.
Can survive harsh conditions such as poor soil and air pollution in urban environments. It also can be planted underneath Black Walnut trees, which many plants cannot survive.
Always Afternoon was awarded the Silver Stout Medal in 1997, which is the highest honor given by the American Hemerocallis Society.
In a half-gallon grower pot.
