UCPS Philodendron Gloriosum 10 inch

Philodendron Gloriosum is a creeping aroid with heart shaped velvety green leaves with striking white veins.

As opposed to climbers like Monsteras, this tropical plant prefers to grow horizontally along the soil.

Thrives best in high humidity, with bright indirect light.  Needs well draining soil, so a pot that drains is essential.  It can be grown in a mix of peat, orchid bark and perlite if desired.  Adding horticultural charcoal is also a recommendation.

Keep the soil lightly moist, but never wet.  If it is either overwatered (which can cause root rot) or underwatered, the leaves with start to droop.

As a tropical, it prefers temperatures between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a 6" grower pot.  Grown from tissue in the greenhouse at Seguin Gardens.

NOTE:  Due to the relative rarity of this plant, and its high price, in store pickup is required, so you can see the plant before you take it home.
