As a general rule, any heavy, bulky or very fragile items are available for store pickup only and are unable to be shipped. In addition, due to staffing difficulties, we are normally unable to ship annuals and perennials in the busy spring season. We apologize for this inconvenience. In general, most houseplants are able to be shipped.
With the exception of smaller houseplants, in 4 and 6 in pots, most plants are store pickup only. In winter we may not ship any live plants, depending upon the weather forecast.
Shipping is by UPS Ground, 2nd or 3rd Day Air. Rates are determined at the time of checkout. Currently, we only ship within the continental US. Shipping times can vary depending upon distance and time of year (how busy UPS is), they generally vary from 1 day shipping up to 3 to 5 days for longer distances from our location. Our goal is to ship within one to two business days (M-F) after order is placed. More complicated orders, for example ones that require extra packing time due to fragility or size, could take one or two days longer to ship out.
UPS shipping fees are set by UPS and Shopify at the time of the order and are determined by weight, size and distance.
In an effort to minimize our environmental impact, we are moving towards more eco-friendly and sustainable packaging supplies. Whenever possible, we are moving from biodegradable packing peanuts to paper based products (using recycled materials whenever possible). We also are moving towards paper based replacements for bubble wrap and packing tapes. In some instances, we might still utilize bubble wrap or other materials if we have particularly fragile items or otherwise feel it would ship more safely.
Local Delivery Local delivery is currently not available. We are regularly assessing our ability to do local deliveries on a timely basis.
