The Monstera can tolerate less than ideal conditions, such as dry air and indirect light. 

This makes this variety of split leaf philodendron a popular houseplant amongst beginners and intermediate plant lovers. 

In it‚¬„¢s larger state, the Monstera will need to be trellised. It's natural growth habit is to climb.
