ZZ plants are beautiful, unique, low maintenance houseplants that have long stems covered in hundreds of round, plump, shiny green leaves (or leaflets as they are called)

These plants are very drought resistant thanks to their rhizomatous roots that store water

ZZ plants, however, are very poisonous plants and should be kept away from pets and children

Indoors, ZZ plants can survive in low to bright indirect light and are extremely slow growing. Direct sun burns the leaves of a ZZ Plant
