Since 2019, Illinois residents who hold a Medical Cannabis Card are allowed to grow up to 5 cannabis plants in their own home, with restrictions*
Morton College Alumni and Cannabis Advocates Raymundo B. Ginez and Sebastian Devila will lead this cannabis growing class. Join us as they discuss the basics of nurturing a medical plant in your home.
The journey will take you from seed all the way through harvesting. As part of the experience, the different types of plants, terpenes, equipment, nutrients and flowering will be covered.
Information about Morton College's Cannabis courses will also be shared.
All class participants will receive a $5 store certificate to offset the cost of the class.
When registering, you will be required to enter your name, email and a type of payment. If you would like to be added to our regular mailing list, you have that option at checkout. We do not rent, sell or loan out our mailing list to anyone.
If you are uncomfortable registering online, call the store at 708.222.2772 for other options.
*Plants must be grown in a locked room, with access only to individuals 21 or older. Renters need to check with their landlord, as building owners are allowed to prohibit cannabis growing. Since cannabis is illegal at the Federal level, anyone living in federally assisted housing is prohibited from growing cannabis. Only individuals who are in possession of a valid Illinois Medical Cannabis Card are allowed to legally grow cannabis in the State of Illinois.
Seguin Gardens & Gifts, as well as UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago, are providing this course solely as an educational opportunity in partnership with Morton College, and do not advocate, endorse nor participate in any legislative or political action relating to the regulation of cannabis use or propagation.
